  5. Holly Fisher People

    Holly Fisher is an independent filmmaker, teacher and editor who has worked since the mid-sixties and contributed to Who Killed Vincent Chin (1989 nominee). She earned a BA in Chinese Art History from Columbia (1964) and an MA in Cinema Studies from NYU (1980), and from 1966–71 made cinema verité on political and environmental issues. Her experimental films received a 1995 Museum of Modern Art retrospective and were screened at museums and festivals; Bullets for Breakfast premiered at the 1992 Berlin International Film Festival and KALAMA SUTTA premiered at the 2001 Berlin International Film Festival.
