Keiko Tsuno People

Keiko Tsuno is co-founder of Downtown Community TV Center; over 26 years more than 50,000 students studied electronic media arts at DCTV. She produced PBS documentaries including The Story of Vinh (1991), a CINE Golden Eagle and Tokyo Video Festival winner, and Third Avenue – Only the Strong Survive (1980), which earned her a National Emmy for Best Editing and the Tokyo Video Festival Grand Prix. Canal Street – First Stop in America (1998) was produced with a Rockefeller Foundation film/video fellowship and a Corporation for Public Broadcasting grant.

Kelly Jacobson People

Kelly Jacobson is an artist who explores how entropic systems in the body and architecture translate into artifacts of human experience; she examines how the metaphorical language of housing and the manifestation of tools and infrastructure record identities, desires and actions. Her practice uses language, science and personal history to produce allegory and artifact. Ken Feingold People

Ken Feingold (USA, 1952) is an artist working in film, video, objects and installations since 1974; he studied at Antioch College and holds B.F.A. and M.F.A. degrees in Post-Studio Art from CalArts. He received Rockefeller Foundation and Guggenheim Fellowships (2003, 2004), taught at Princeton University and Cooper Union, and exhibited commissioned and biennial works including Interior (1997) for ICC Biennale '97 Tokyo and If/Then in Whitney Biennial 2002. His works are in MoMA (Film Study Collection), Centre Georges Pompidou, Kiasma and ZKM; he has lived in India, Japan and Argentina and lives in New York City.

Ken Jacobs People

Ken Jacobs, born Brooklyn, NY in 1933, served two years in the Coast Guard and used the GI Bill to study painting and film; he studied painting with Hans Hofmann in 1956–57. He created and directed The Millennium Film Workshop, NYC (1966–68), founded the Dept. of Cinema at SUNY Binghamton in 1969 and held the Professor of Cinema (1974–2000), Distinguished Professor (2000) and Emeritus (2002) titles. His grants and awards include D.A.A.D. 1986; Maya Deren Award 1994; Guggenheim and NEA 1995; Rockefeller Foundation and numerous NYFA, NYSCA and festival prizes 1999–2010; Tom, Tom, The Piper's Son was named to the National Film Registry on Dec. 27, 2007.

Ken Kobland was born in the Bronx and studied architecture, art and philosophy; he graduated in Art with a minor in Philosophy from Union College, Schenectady, New York in 1969 and attended Columbia University School of Architecture in 1967-68. Kenneth Anger People

Kenneth Anger achieved public fame with his best-selling 1960 book HOLLYWOOD BABYLON; he is also an independent filmmaker responsible for nine short films totaling three hours' length. His career was plagued by financial problems, threats, despair, lost and stolen films and seizure of footage by labs on grounds of obscenity; in 1947, at seventeen, he made the prize-winning FIREWORKS, and his other films include EAUX D'ARTIFICE, THE INAUGURATION OF THE PLEASURE DOME, INVOCATION OF MY DEMON BROTHER, LUCIFER RISING, RABBITS' MOON and SCORPIO RISING.

Kevin Cooley is a photography and video-based artist with an MFA from the School of Visual Arts who lives and works in Brooklyn. Kevin Cunningham is a New York City writer, director, designer, producer, inventor and entrepreneur who founded and serves as Executive Artistic Director of 3‑Legged Dog; he led the company’s recovery after the 9/11/01 attacks and the creation of the 3LD Art & Technology Center in Lower Manhattan. Kim Tomczak is a multidisciplinary artist known for performance, photography and video; he was born in Victoria, B.C. in 1952 and graduated with honours from the Vancouver School of Art (now the Emily Carr College of Art) in 1975. He is a founding director of V Tape and serves on the boards of the Toronto Arts Council and the Alliance for Canada's Audio-Visual Heritage; since 1983 he has collaborated with Lisa Steele. Their work was the subject of a major survey exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario in 1989-90; they received the Bell Canada Award and a Toronto Arts Award in 1993, and in 1996 their work premiered at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Kitty Hubbard People

Kitty Hubbard holds a BA in studio art from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, and an MFA in Visual Studies from SUNY Brockport; she serves as a professor in the Art Department at the State University of New York College at Brockport. She began as a photographer and expanded her practice to digital media, installations, artist books and sculpture. She has participated in over 65 exhibitions nationally and internationally and has received numerous grants, including Artist Project Grants funded by the NEA, The Rockefeller Foundation and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
