  10. SONY CV 2000 Tools

    The CV 2000 is a ½" open-reel Videocorder announced by Sony in Japan in October 1964; it is described as a 2-rotary head recorder developed by a team led by Nobutoshi Kihara and marketed in 1965. Specifications note solid-state circuitry, recording times of 60 minutes continuous with V-32 tape (2,370 ft.) and 30 minutes with V-31 tape (1,240 ft.), and rewind/fast-forward within seven minutes.     The CVC-2000 video camera was marketed for use with the early CV 2000 series of video recorders and sold as an accessory for the CV-2000 and CV-2000D; it was also listed for use with the TCV-2010 and 2020.
