Vicky Chainey Gagnon People
Vicky Chainey Gagnon is a curator at the Foreman Art Gallery of Bishops University; she worked as an art educator at Oakville Galleries and as assistant curator to GaÎtane Verna at the Foreman Art Gallery from 2004 to 2005. She holds an M.A. in interdisciplinary studies from York University (Toronto) and a B.F.A. in film studies and art history from Concordia University's School of Cinema (Montreal). Since 2000 she has worked with the Loop Collective on exhibitions and screenings including the Liquid Bodies series (2001-2002), has curated projects by Canadian and international artists, has published texts on several artists and writers, and will begin Ph.D research on contemporary curatorial practice in September 2007.

Victoria Kereszi People
Victoria L. Kereszi is a documentary producer and media educator who serves as Director of Programming at Manhattan Neighborhood Network, New York City's community access center. She has taught video production at public schools across New York City and at Global Action Project, working with teens on videos about sexual health and anti-tobacco campaigns; she traveled to Costa Rica and Cuba with delegations of youth and co-directed Cuba Beside Us, a video documenting Cuban and American youth during the summer of 2002. She holds a Master's degree in Documentary and Women's Memoir Film from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study.

Victoria Mills is a full-time practicing psychoanalyst and documentary filmmaker; her first film was the award-winning documentary MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS: MIRRORS THAT BIND. She leads workshops for universities, national women's organizations and grass-roots community groups and continues outreach to those communities; she is a training analyst on the faculty of the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis and supervises graduate and PhD students at several universities. In her many years as an analyst she has worked extensively with people of different cultures who experienced trauma, including survivors of the 9/11 disaster.

Meditative and theoretical prose on video as a medium, arguing that video fabricates light and sound, creates retrievable representational domains, and neutralizes traditional notions of truth, memory and history; it treats buffering, inscription, and virtual realities alongside political and libidinal economies. The text examines the body and fetishization in relation to television and screening, includes a short Epitaph poem, and contains sections titled Video ii, Videola and Video; it also references over four hours of videowork produced in weeks of autumn and discusses tape as an inert/active material.
