Andrew Berends People
Andrew Berends is a documentary filmmaker and photographer who spent six months unembedded in Iraq to produce The Blood of My Brother and When Adnan Comes Home; The Blood of My Brother premiered at IDFA and had its North American premiere at Tribeca. His earlier film Urk was an International Documentary Association - Pare Lorentz Award nominee and screened in competition at Cinéma Du Réel in Paris. His photography projects include work in Haiti on sexual violence toward girls and in Brazil from the slums of Salvador and Rio de Janeiro to fishing techniques in Bahia; in New York he documented conditions of underprivileged Brooklyn youth. He received a Finishing Funds 2006 award from the Experimental Television Center.
Andrew Demirjian People
Andrew Demirjian makes films described as sonic and visual tapestries that track how perception, categorization and meaning are assigned in a culture of sensory overload; the videos render interior thought processes using text, art history, pop culture and music as a referential landscape shaped by digital tools. He resists being limited to the conventional video format and conceives many works as immersive experiences in the form of large-scale installations and live performance. The videos are short, employ quick editing, are often humorous, and emphasize sound and text to challenge the traditional dominance of the visual in the film medium.
Andrew Deutsch People
Andrew Deutsch (b.1968) is a sound, video and graphic artist based in Hornell, NY; he teaches Sound & Video Art at Alfred University and holds a BFA (1990, Alfred University) and an MFA (1994, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute). He founded the Magic If Recordings label in 1998 and has issued 14 Magic If editions distributed in the United States by Anomalous Records, with editions ranging from 20 to 450 copies. Deutsch has collaborated with Pauline Oliveros, Peer Bode, Jessie Shefrin, Stephen Vitiello and Tetsu Inoue, developed a real-time raster scan processing system, exhibited work at the Whitney Museum and the 9th Biennial of the Moving Image in Geneva, and received NYFA awards in 1997 and 1999.

Andrew Lynn is Manager of Education and Development at the MNN Youth Channel in New York City; he develops media literacy curriculum and manages the peer education program. He is a musician and video producer and most recently co-directed and produced the documentary Still We Ride. He completed an MFA at Rensselaer's iEAR program in 2002 and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Andrew Neumann is a Boston-based avant-garde filmmaker and artist who makes wall-mounted kinetic video sculptures that use computer-controlled turn-screws, small LCD video monitors and tiny cameras to reveal inscribed messages; a projected videotape by the artist was also on view. He works across sculpture, electronic/interactive music and film/video installation; his single-channel videos have been shown on PBS, The Worldwide Video Festival and at Artist Space. He exhibited at the DeCordova Museum and Art Interactive last year and at bitforms gallery in New York City this year; he holds a filmmaking degree from Emerson College and formerly taught at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

He was a database consultant in Florida for four years, specializing in Microsoft Access databases, and prior to that worked as a software engineer at Bellcore where he was the chief architect and programmer of an intelligent database management system. Angie Eng People
Angie Eng (born 1969, San Francisco, California) is a media artist working in video, installation and time-based performance; she trained as a painter at UC Santa Barbara and moved to New York City in 1993 to pursue time-based arts and live video performance. She co-founded and co-directed the live video performance group The Poool with Nancy Meli Walker and Benton Bainbridge (1996–1999) and has performed and exhibited at institutions including the Whitney Museum at Philip Morris, Lincoln Center Video Festival and the New Museum. Her videos have appeared in international festivals; her projects have been supported by Eyebeam, Artists Space, Harvestworks, NYSCA and the Jerome Foundation, and she serves as a correspondent for AOA.

Anita Cheng People
Anita Cheng holds an MFA in Dance from the University of Michigan; her choreography and media work has been presented in theaters, galleries, on DVD and the Internet. She received Experimental Television Center Grants (1998–1999) and Fulbright Grants for choreography to Hong Kong (1991) and to the Federal University of Rio De Janeiro (2007) to teach digital art and performance at the School of Communications (ECO). Annea Lockwood is a composer and sound artist who explores natural acoustic sounds across sound art, installations, text-sound, performance and concert music; her work has been presented at venues and festivals including the Whitney Museum, De Ijsbreker (Amsterdam), Other Minds and the Walker Art Center. In 2005 she completed A Sound Map of the Danube, a four-year surround-sound installation premiered at the Donau Festival in Krems a.d.
