Michael Bosworth is a nationally exhibiting artist and Professor in the Photography Department at Villa Maria College in Buffalo, NY; he holds an MFA in photography from the University of New Mexico and a BFA in Art and a BA in English from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has exhibited at galleries including Sean Kelly Gallery, Burchfield-Penney, Visual Studies Workshop, O'Connor Gallery and CEPA; his commissioned public-art projects include the Main Street/Art Street Windows Project and Herd About Buffalo.

Michael Buchanan is an audio producer and engineer experienced in digital recording, mixing and post-production across DAT, CDR, MiniDisc and hard-disk systems on Macs and PC; he also works in live sound and C/V and MIDI-based composition. He pursued a BA at San Francisco State University (2002/3) after coursework at University of Oregon, City College of San Francisco and in Alaska (1999–2001). Michael Camoin People
Mike Camoin is an Albany-based filmmaker whose documentaries Inside the Blue Line and How to Make an Adirondack Packbasket focus on diminishing Adirondack culture; Inside the Blue Line won Best Short Documentary at the 1996 NYS Capital Film Slam and a Certificate of Merit at the 38th Rochester International Amateur Film Festival. Each program aired on PBS-TV stations across the northeast and was self-distributed. Camoin founded Upstate Independents and the Albany-AIVF Salon (1995), was voted Best Local Filmmaker by Metroland (1999), and his company Videos For Change, LLC was selected by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Incubator in Troy, NY where projects including streaming media work are in development; he holds a Masters in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany.
Michael Kuetemeyer People
Michael Kuetemeyer is a producer and teacher of experimental and documentary media, a founding co-director of Termite TV Collective and a 1998 Fulbright Scholar who taught media production in India. His work includes the interactive installation Evolving Audience, shown at the 2000 & 2001 Philadelphia Fringe Festivals, and an interactive CD-ROM about the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii. Michael Mateas is an artist and assistant professor at Georgia Tech whose work synthesizes art practice, game design and Artificial Intelligence; he focuses on autonomous believable characters, story-generation and guidance architectures, and perception and expressive control for robotic art. His projects include Terminal Time, a mass-audience interactive story-generation machine (with Steffi Domike and Paul Vanouse), Office Plant #1, a desktop robotic plant responsive to email (with Michael Böhlen), and the interactive drama Facade (with Andrew Stern). Michael Rush was Director and Chief Curator of the Palm Beach Institute of Contemporary Art and founded NHAT, Inc. (CT) and Seated Man, Inc. (NY). He authored NEW MEDIA IN LATE 20TH CENTURY ART and VIDEO ART for Thames and Hudson, contributed over 300 articles, curated VIDEO JAM and BROOKLYN! at PBICA, and created its New Media Lounge. He produced award‑winning video, documentary and experimental theater works screened on Public Television and at institutions including Centre Pompidou and Kunsthaus Zurich, received grants including from the National Endowment for the Arts, and held degrees from St. Louis University and Harvard; he was formerly a Jesuit priest and a clinical psychologist.
Michael Schell People
Michael Schell (born September 17, 1961, Waco, Texas) studied at USC (1979–83) and earned a Master's degree in music and video at the University of Iowa in 1985; he produced biomusic and computer-generated works at Stanford CCRMA in 1983 and moved to New York City in 1985. He co-founded the electronic arts ensemble 77 Hz in 1991 and created experimental videotapes and intermedia works including Without Electrodes (1983), Changing (1982), Mea Culpa (1989), Higher Laws (1990) and Lingering-Epiphany (1990). Schell collaborated with numerous musicians and film/video artists, held residencies at major media centers, received awards from BMI and the Concorso Internazionale Luigi Russolo, and obtained support from Meet the Composer, the American Composers Forum and the Experimental Television Center; website http://www.schellsburg.com.

Michael J. Schumacher is a New York City composer, performer and installation artist who creates computer-generated multi-channel sound environments using multi-speaker configurations; his installations have been presented at venues including The Kitchen, PS 1, the Queens Museum, CCNOA (Brussels) and Podewil (Berlin). He founded Strata (2002) and Sustento (2003), was composer in residence for Liz Gerring Dance Company since 1984, collaborated on realizations of John Cage and the Morrow Sound Cube, and received Finishing Funds (2006) and a Foundation for Contemporary Performance Arts Grant (2001). He has published CDs including Room Pieces (XI), taught at Juilliard and Polytechnic University, and holds degrees from Indiana University and Juilliard; he was born in Washington, DC in 1961.
Michael Scroggins People
Michael Scroggins is a videographic and computer animator who has worked in real-time videographic animation since 1970 and in non-real-time 3D computer animation since 1983; he became active in immersive VR in 1992 after receiving a Banff Centre for the Arts grant and premiered the VR installation Topological Slide at the Fourth International Conference on Cyberspace in 1993. He holds an MFA from CalArts and has been on the CalArts faculty since 1978; he studied under Nam June Paik and Shuya Abe and collaborated on the Paik/Abe Video Synthesizer. His absolute animation works have been screened internationally at institutions including the Centre George Pompidou, the Union of Filmmakers in Moscow, Seibu Ginza in Tokyo, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Michele Thursz People
Michele Thursz is an independent curator and director of Post Media Network; in 1999 she co-founded and directed Moving Image Gallery, NYC. Recent projects include a collaboration in a production with the electronic orphanage and artist Miltos Manetas and a guest curator role at the New Museum's Media Z Lounge organizing Cin-o-matic- Memory and the Cinematic Perception, which examined the impact of new technologies on the cinematic experience. She is organizing a group show entitled In Medias Res: Technology's Impact on Artistic Practice at Exit Art, NYC; she has consulted for http://www.Turbulence.org, a net art initiative, and for bitforms gallery, NYC, on marketing and distribution of software related art.

Michelle worked nearly 10 years in independent film and theatre in production, distribution and artist support; she worked in Marketing at First Run/Icarus Films and served as Program Director of the Association of Independent Video and Filmmakers (AIVF). She served on screening committees including the P.O.V. series for PBS, presented at Sundance and South By Southwest, and held production roles on independent film and theatre projects. Originally from Minneapolis, she was Membership/Education Director at Independent Feature Project/Minneapolis-St. Paul, administered the McKnight Fellowship for Screenwriters, and administers WMM's Production Assistance Program overseeing Fiscal Sponsorship filmmakers and related programs.

Michelle Handelman is a Brooklyn-based artist who began as a photographer and produces confrontational video, performance, photographic and digital works; she became known in the mid-90s for the documentary BloodSisters (1999 Bravo award) about the San Francisco Leatherdyke scene and has screened internationally including Georges Pompidou Centre and ICA London. Her projects include The Laughing Lounge for Performa 05 and an animated collaboration with Paul Miller; she has received NYSCA and AFI Visions awards and residencies and collaborated with Monte Cazazza before moving to New York in 1999. Her writing appears in Inappropriate Behaviour, Coming Up and Herotica 3; her work is held by Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art, di Rosa and Zabludowicz Art Trust, and she teaches at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Boston.
