Screenings: Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; DiverseWorks, Houston; Gallery 312, Chicago; South by South West Film/Video Festival, Austin TX; Boston Cyber Arts Festival, MIT; VideoSpace, MA; Artist's Television Association, CA.

Presentations/Performances: Cinema and Cultural Studies Symposium, Florida State University; International Symposium on Electronic Art, Manchester Metropolitan University; Performance and Time Arts Series, Cincinnati, OH; Nebulous, Champaign-Urbana. He worked through the Residency Program at the Experimental Television Center. He engages in developing innovative curriculum that addresses emerging media formats, networked arts practice, and various theorizations and contemporary histories of digital and media arts cultures.

  • Barbara Sykes-Dietz People

    Barbara Sykes is a video artist who holds an M.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute (1979–81) and completed B.F.A. studies at the University of Illinois, Chicago (1974–79); her work spans video, computers and performance. Since 1975 her award-winning tapes have been shown worldwide at major museums, galleries and on broadcast and cable television; she was a featured artist in the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago exhibition Art in Chicago: 1945 to 1995 and has received numerous grants and artists residencies for research and videotape production in India, Japan, China, Australia, Spain and New York.

    Aaron Davidson holds a BFA from the University of New Mexico; he is a visiting instructor at Pratt and received a residency from Smack Mellon Studios. With Melissa Dubbin he has exhibited internationally including the Bronx Museum of the Arts (Rhizome Remix) and Espace Paul Richard (Paris); they have produced interactive media, video and telecommunications projects with LOT/EKarchitecture, Steina and Woody Vasulka, Morton Subotnick and Joan LaBarbara. Dubbin and Davidson held an artists residency at the Experimental TV Center, Owego, and received a New York State Council on the Arts award in 2003.
