Programs of the Art and Science Laboratory Groups

Art and Science Laboratory (ASL) is a nonprofit educational and cultural institution that explores electronic and computing arts and sciences as a cross-disciplinary creative domain. Tax-exempt status was granted by the US Internal Revenue Service in January 2000; in January 2001 ASL moved into a 2,500 sq. ft. facility in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Its principal research and education areas include electronic and computing arts, robotics, sound art and human–machine interfaces; the Laboratory is organized into Workshops and Residencies, a Research Program and an Electronic Art Archive and Dissemination.
