Barbara Lattanzi is an artist whose current practice involves the construction and application of "cinema software". She has written and applied digital code to a range of projects including: motion picture riffing and improvisation ("Unwriting"), remediation of particular "structuralist" ?lms of the 1970s ("HF Critical Mass"), reexamination of the sing-along genre as ideology critique ("C-SPAN Karaoke"), perceptual experimentation that includes extended-duration structures for the moving image ("Optical De-dramatization Engine").
